GAMEDAY IN ATHENS, GA:
Welcome to the Home of the 2008 SEC Baseball Champions. The Classic City has Sanford Stadium, Foley Field, Five Star Day Cafe, Taco Stand, Georgia Bar, Pulaski Street, Collge Avenue, The Boulevard District, Terrell Hall, the Tate Center, The State Botanical Garden and a few other things I love.
Today, UGA plays. IT IS GAMEDAY IN ATHENS, GA. UGA vs. Lipscomb at 3 pm. Louisville and Tech are also in town for tournament style play in the National Regionals. Nashville, Atlanta and Louisville are metro settings for universities. ATHENS, GA is not; it is just a plain old college town…A REAL COLLEGE TOWN. Welcome to ATHENS, boys. GO DAWGS!!!
