Playing at Kentucky in front of a packed house that included actress Ashley Judd, the UGA basketball team lost to the Kentucky Wildcats by six points Saturday afternoon. Georgia made it close late but could not catch a determined Big Blue, desperate to avoid the sweep by the Dawgs. Trey Thompkins and Travis Leslie – Georgia’s top two weapons – each had subpar games. Though generally improved and competitive, Coach Mark Fox has found his team unable to come up with close wins in conference, especially against tough SEC East foes.

Georgia travels to Arkansas for a Hog-Dawg rodeo Wednesday at 9:00.
