-We have six home games versus just four road games next season, with the toughest away game looking to be at Ole Miss. The schedule also features between one and three games in Atlanta. Kirby Smart’s Dawgs are schedule-wise in a relatively decent position for a return trip to the conference championship. Win there and UGA could suddenly be right back in ATL on the last day of 2017.

Though the league schedule opens with three of four road contests – after the Dawgs start the fall campaign against an emerging North Carolina program in Atlanta and have a home tuneup – Mizzou and South Carolina will almost certainly still be down, while both Ole Miss and UNC will have suffered some attrition. SEC East tilts with Tennessee in Athens and Florida in Jacksonville appear to be by far the biggest of the regular season.

Georgia enters the season on a five-game winning streak.
